An excellent  cuatro of made with Palo Escrito and Venezuelan cedar by DON CORTEZ. The Palo Escrito instruments provide magnificent sounds . With a fretboard made with the granadillo wood and the fingerboard of grandillo, the luthier brings out the finest of what Venezuela has to offer.
Tapa half cedar and half palo escrito with the beuty of wood grains of the tree itself.
four single nylon strings, tuned. It is similar in shape and tuning to the ukulele, but their character and playing technique are vastly different. It is tuned in a similar fashion to the traditional D tuning of the ukulele, but the A and B are an octave lower.
