Japanese Radium Emanator Emmanator Quack Medicine. The photographs will have to speak for themselves on this item, as most of the writing is in Japanese. This is clearly a Radium Emanator kit/set, with nearly a full jar of the supposed Radium product. The Radium does not show any gamma activity above background, but slightly elevated beta radiation. Everything is sized to fit in the 9" x 11" x 5" case, which is very well made. All labels are intact. There are all sorts of different tems, and I have no idea what purpose they serve. There appears to be a package of cigarette rolling papers? Maybe they smoked the Radium? The nickel plated canister is some type of heating device. The two small glass vials have tightly rolled instruction sheets. It's in very good to excellent condition, as most of these types of devices are, because back in the day they were quite expensive, and thus well cared for. I could ramble on, but this is basically what you see is what you get. I have other radium devices, including US made emanators, so I'm guessing this is somewhere around 1920-ish?
