It is a Karin shamisen for Nagauta that I got from my mother.
However, I'm not familiar with the shamisen, so I can't tell you much ...
The neck is a fine neck (upper thickness: approx. 2.5 cm / 0.98425 in), normal size, length approx. 100 cm / 39.37 in.
Later, the skin (both sides) has been re-covered at "Bachiei-san" in Ningyocho, Tokyo. It has not been used since then.
The item is the shamisen body in the photo, and only the one shown in the image.
Sticking and hobby drumsticks, spools, threads, and pieces are not included.
