Unknown Brand 8 String MANDOLIN has a very similar look as an Old KAY Guitar!

$ 55.44

Availability: 68 in stock
  • Brand: Unbranded
  • Experience Level: Beginner, Advanced, Expert
  • Condition: WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS IS WHAT YOU WILL GET! The 26 inch long 8 String Mandolin is missing 2 strings and has no label inside the sound hole though I have been told by an Expert the Instrument is definitely a KAY Mandolin as shown in the 2nd photo of a very old ad. There is a tiny "hairline" to the left of a larger crack (4th photo) which starts at the sound hole and is running up the center of the fretboard until it turns into a "hairline" about 2 frets from the top (see the last 6 photos), IMO treating the fretboard with some oil would help things out here but you know more about these things than I do! Structurally the neck appears to be straight and the "action" itself is low, aside from the fretboard situation the Condition of this Instrument is Very Good, it does have a very nice tone and reminds me of a lot of the old or "Vintage" KAY Acoustic Guitars built in the 1950's and "Sixties"! The above is Being Sold As-Shown in the Photos and as described above "AS-IS".
  • Finish: Natural
  • Set Includes: String
  • Instrument: Mandolin
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: Unknown
